Sandi Bangasser departs to pursue television work.

First rough-cut of the film is complete!

Yet another shake up in the editorial team – Alisa has left to pursue television work,
and Sandi Bangasser has been hired as editor. Sandi recently moved to LA,
after graduating from Northwestern University.

July 2003
Hallie has left to continue her studies at AFI, but Margit Pfeiffer has joined the team
as 2nd assistant editor/sound mixer. Before Hallie left, she finished up a
teaser of HIGH AND DRY. Check it out here!

May 2003
The Upstairs Film office is officially up and running at a new location in Hollywood.
AFI student Hallie Faben has come on board as editorial intern/assistant editor.

April 2003
After a six month search, Alisa Lipsitt has been hired to edit HIGH AND DRY.
Alisa is a graduate of RISD, and was co-editor of “Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns,” a feature
documentary about the band They Might Be Giants, which recently premiered at SXSW.

September 2002
Renegade Bookseller premieres at Silver Lake Film Festival.

July-August 2002
Been taking a break from HIGH AND DRY to shoot “Renegade Bookseller,” a
short documentary starring Natalie Woodlawn, set to premiere at the
Silver Lake Film Festival as part of the Veritas program. Also went on the road with
The Nads to Gearfest in Austin. Shot “Saigon Hooker” music video in LA and Arizona.

April 2002
Production on HIGH AND DRY has officially ended. We wrapped with Howe Gelb’s live
in-store performance at the new Amoeba Records in LA.
